Myself and a group of friends visited Kos Town for the day by ferry from Akbuk, Turkey.

The town seems really geared up for holiday makers with lots of fast food cafes and restaurants.

As we wanted to sample some real Greek food we asked the Greek girls serving in a leather goods shop a few door down from the Elia where was the best place nearby for real Greek cuisine.

They recommended the Elia and we were not disappointed. Excellent Greek food, friendly, helpful staff who spoke good English. A wide selection of dishes and wines at very reasonable prices.

Well worth a visit if you are in Kos.

if you want to eat mezedes this is the place you looking for!

We tasted spetsofai and gardouba which were delicious ! and it has great tsipouro !

The restaurant is located to the old town of Kos and the decoration is with old furniture.

The people who worked there were very friendly and with a big smile.

The price for the tasted food was also nice! I love Greek islands.
